Re: Passenger departure from rig

Again what ever works is the logical answer. In reality however... I have been on all sides of this question; corner marshal, driver & passenger on the ground. First off, passenger = waving yellow prior to the incident to notify racers of an incident. Well I suppose it could be debris  ...

Re: Questions for a sidecar project...

First to address eddy's rig. Built it and you will get to race. Second and most important is the unification of the rules in North America. AHRMA sidecar racers are fighting to get the rules incorporated in the rule book. We have worked closely with the VRRA & USCRA to homogenize the rules. They...

Re: Another vintage sidecar round

Like several of you here I have raced with both organizations at several tracks. It seems that at one point or another drivers and passengers migrate to or from vintage to modern & back. All the better to expose each other and others to the nuances of each style and era. Having raced together at...

Re: Sidecar Numbers.

re Norton rigs, I believe one would be Steve Jowetts which was converted and may be the Yamaha powered rig sitting some where last seen with Frans Van Loon and Andy Cowan. The other may be owned by Thane Gilles, in the Ottwaw Montreal area. The last time I saw this rig was at Mosport about 5 years ...

Re: Please help our Hannah

Just an update for those who have not heard.
Hannah & Tommy plan on making their comeback at Road America in June this year.
I do believe that Mosport is still in their plans too.

Re: P2 motor rules

Since I don't get here very often I am late on responding here. The 450 may be underpowered compared to an XS or BMW but if you ride all out as though you were racing a F125 and on tight courses it suddenly becomes competitive. If anyone knows Johnathan Spinny from the USCRA that is his style and mo...

Has anyone heard from the chairman?

I know he was wanting to get his Big Wheel out to play.
He just didn't have enough time prior to the Quintte.

Now once again I am looking for a ride.

Send me a PM if you can help a lost monkee out.

Re: NHMS Festival of Sidecars

The Festival of Sidecars and the AHRMA race at Grattan have always been a conflict. For those who race AHRMA in any form Grattan has always been a draw due to it's location in the midwest. The facilities maybe on the primitive side but the racing, track and friendships win out. Last year I made the ...

Re: Passenger needed for Grattan

Since I passengered for Mathew I should have written something earlier. The two of us had a fantastic time on track and had to battle for our awards. On Saturday we would take second place in a race of four by mere inches. Sunday we would make our pass for the lead with a lap to go. Racing between f...

Monkee for Hire

I was planning to come up for the Quintte to race but just found out that the chair I would have raced on is not yet ready.

Well I planned on being there so I will be there with bells and whistles plus my leathers if someone needs a stand in.

I am in the States but if you want Call me 724-312-2468
