VRRA Race School Reviews

For those of you who completed the VRRA RAce school - Phase 1, 2 or Sidecar - Would you mind sending me a quick positive review of around 20 words and a headshot or a picture of you on your bike? For example "Highly Recommended. I was paired with Coach Dave who was extremely knowledgeable and h...

Re: New challenge classes for 2025

I'm just thinking its such a huge class at AHRMA and if you could get 5 of those guys at Calabogie and Mosport that would bump up the number significantly... and who wouldn't want to ride at Calabogie and Mosport

Re: New challenge classes for 2025

Timothy. The 2T open makes absoloutly no sense. - What if you have a 350? - Why wouldn't you just follow the AHRMA rules and get AHRMA folks to attend. Thats a 30 person class in the US. If you can get 5 they may enter the bikes native class as well +senior/junior open. Thats another $500 per rider

Re: Entry to 2024 AGM

Thanks Doug. Just didn't know if they had been published on Facebook or not as I don't have access.

Re: Custom front Sprocket

Thanks Gary.

I actually ended up getting some different collars/spacers from Suzuki Vintage Parts so I'm able to use a stock 520 from a GPZ550. I have a lot of those.

There is a lot of adjustment on the shaft as I guess the original chain is a 630

83-85 Yamaha RZ350 Frame or Chassis

I sold a couple of mine and am having sellers remorse, so I'm for looking for a straight frame with all the brackets and lugs intact.

It would be great if it had an ownership but Bill of Sale works as well.

Thanks in Advance

Re: Notice of Appreciation

I'll second that.

I don't think we could have had a better weekend to end off this seasons racing.

Wanted - Hawk or FZR400

We had been planning on building a P2 CB350 for next year (not for me, I'm obviously too fat) but its almost impossible to get bits and pieces in Canada. Since its the end of the season I was wondering if anyone was considering selling a Hawk or FZR400. There is a very healthy amount of competitors ...

Re: Offshore "Mikuni" Clone Carbs - Any Good?

Pat. I'm not sure if this is helpful but my experience with the OKO clones has been good. I have a set of 28mm Keihin PWK copies on a RD350. The finish is definitely not as good and there is a lot more casting flash on the outside compared to the Keihins. The machined surfaces inside though are fine...

Re: Custom front Sprocket

Thanks Kevin. I did. There are lots with the same spline, its just the offset. Vintage Suzuki in the UK shipped their spacers/collars that provide a custom offset with just a regular sprocket. I guess I could have had them made as well but they are hardened. Hoping it will be here for Shannonville.
