Re: Endurance races and lap records.

I would agree with you in that there should be lap records for endurance as well, however rolling them in to the sprint race records would not be fair to those who hold the records in those sprint races unless we completely changed our system for lap records. For example, last year I beat the p3 li...

Endurance races and lap records.

I’d like to open this topic once again. As this past weekend the P5F2 lap record was eclipsed in the endurance race. I still fail understand why: 1. When we know the class of machinery 2. When it is a club sanctioned and managed race 3. When it’s pretty easy to determine who was on the bike. We do n...

Re: Round 3 Endurance Results

The cans were not in pit 818. The bike and bike number were clearly visible on the bike and pit box. Neither were 818. The debate occurred when the bike left the pit. Maybe that was the real issue? Was he more concerned with lecturing me (and I was just extra hands holding a fire extinguisher) rathe...

Re: Round 3 Endurance Results

Not trying to be funny or difficult….but shouldn’t the marshal know what team he was applying the penalty to?
Clearly he did not.
Notepads recommended…….

And is an empty can- still a fuel can?
Is there a safety concern with an empty container?

Re: Round 3 Endurance Results

On the verge never went counter race….
That was another team. They only entered and exited the pit once for their stop.

I se it was changed- but…..
They also never had two cans over the wall….
Ever.

Re: Back to back races at Calabogie

yes- this is usually allowed- pit out needs to know as well as pit in.'

If running the same pit lane set up as previously (entrance and exit at the same end) The waiting bike should be able to be just inside pit lane hugging the fence so its not in the way-
At least that is how we used to do it...

Re: Round 1 Endurance REVISED Race Results

It indeed was a clean race - no red flags, and zero incidents. Well done by all the teams P3M is in heavyweight as that's the class they chose. Same as WCR ran a P5F2 in Heavyweight by choice. Yes, WCR and WCR LIGHT team names were swapped. Thanks for pointing that out. It's been corrected. Mileage...

Re: Round 1 Endurance REVISED Race Results

Just looking over the results. Congrats on a clean race. Why is a p3M in heavyweight , did they choose that? (normally that would be a middleweight class) I think you have WCR lite and WCR swapped (just team names I believe) The column for mileage adjustment- this is for when teams end on the same l...

Re: Endurance Handicaps

...The previous Endurance Coordinator has stated the goals as follows: 1. To allow any machine in the club to have the opportunity to race endurance. Growing the field. 2. Allow the fastest teams to be the ones that finish first. Regardless of what machine they choose to enter on. These goals have ...

Re: Endurance Handicaps

My only real question really remains- What is the goal of making changes? Surely there was a goal in mind to better the race or the club in some way? And now the new numbers are just “chosen” numbers that don’t reflect his data or the lap record data. I don’t get it. So to confirm. New handicaps are...
