Sandblasting, equipment & supplies

Postby Freak Daddy » Thu Jan 19, 2006 3:31 pm

I'm a co-owner of a Industrial sandblast supply company and have just opened a new location in Mississauga this January.

We will be open for bussiness in February, with our blast systems up and running about mid February.

I will offer special deals to all VRRA members if you are looking to purchase equipment.

Also will be interested in doing some blasting for parts, as I have a couple of projects on the go and looking for a starter track bike
(with hopes of getting in the VRRA/RACE school in June to get my license)

Please email with any inquiries

Regards,
Brian

Open for Business

Postby Freak Daddy » Tue Nov 21, 2006 9:05 pm

Just thought I'd up-dated, we have been open for business since January and doing fine.

We have our demo equipment running and can blast items as large as any size motorcycle frame. So if you have pipes, heads, any other parts we can blast them.

If you have a sandblast and require parts, we will have them, or looking to up-grade.

Hi Brian, Ray Roberts here from Cambridge, i think I sold you the 550 Honda race bike years ago. I need help trying to get my Princess auto bead blaster working, I know it's a piece of crap but it just drives me nuts every time I use it, what do I need to make it work. Thanks Ray.

Hey Ray,

In most cases a worn out nozzle can be the reason behind the bad performance, nozzle to air jet size is the key but I know they don't sell the best equipment at Princess. Not sure of the type of nozzles they run but we sell a inexpensive kit that could work in place, see link http://www.manusabrasive.com/products/siphonblastkits/

This kit can also be used for outside application as it includes hoses and a siphon tube to draw the abrasive from a bucket. I can also supply the same gun with a foot pedal used in our production models if you want to go that route.

Clean dry, free of oil/grease blast media is also a key which I'm sure I can help you out with.

You can contact me in the office Monday through Friday 8 to 6 at 905-890-5837

Regards,
Brian

I have this same kit in my P.A. cabinet as the original quickly wore out. You can buy replacement tip kits for this as well(comes with 2 or 3 tips?), and you'll need them if you use it often.
