Mid Ohio weekend

Hi all, VRRA teams took 1.2.3 in the P2 class sidecars at Mid Ohio. Andrew Fairbanks and Catherine finished 2nd across the line but since the motor is a 900cc BMW they ran as a P3.
final positions for Sundays race were, Paul and Marie, Andrew and Catherine, Brian Brama and Roger Preston (an AHRMA convert), Rob and Allen, Dale Lavender and Chas (Dale please fill in the blank) from AHRMA. and watching from the Keyhole were they ran off Bob (Rabbie) Demetrius and Christina Davigard, who ran well on the Saturday..
Peter Essaff and Dennis Brown also ran well on the Saturday aboard a Short bike, but sat out the Sunday race due to a developing oil leak.
Brian offered his bike to Jeff Myers who took the sidecar school at Beaver Run a few weeks earlier, for the practice on Sunday, we hope cementing another AHRMA team for the future.
all the sidecar people there talked to new prospects and enthusiastic fans during waking hours, (unless wandering the Swap meet tables). A surprising number of enthusist's from Cal and New Mexico as well as the Ohio, Michigan and New york area expressed serious interest for the second year, we do expect some of these team prospects to get there three wheels together for next year.
Also present and noted over the weekend were numerous movers and shakers from VRRA: Mike Vinten, Dean, Ralph etc all promoting our Mosport event along with us.
Thanks go to all the AHRMA people who made us feel welcome and helped any way they could, special thanks to Cindy Cowell and Will who go into hyper speed for most of the weekend. I am rather glad for VRRA slightly more relaxed pace.
