Hoping to monkee around.

Postby limy_1 » Fri Dec 29, 2006 1:15 pm

I am in the final stages of planning my vacation schedule.

It is begining to look like I will be available to come up & play.
(3 weekends at Shannonville & Mosport too!)
With that said I will be looking for a rig needing a passenger.

For those who don't know who I am (most of you) I am an AHRMA and WERA Official.
I have been known to race in AHRMA as well.
Last June I attended a school by Paul & Marrie Whittaker held at Beaverun.
In school I rode both left & right chairs.
I raced with Brian Brama at Mid-O in July finishing on Saturday and 3rd on Sunday.

Now for the real questions.
Does VRRA and RACE both accept my AHRMA license for experiance?
Then there is the question of helmets.
This was brought up once in the general section with out a real answer.
1) Snell 2005
2) ECE 22-05
3) BSI 6658 Type A

Again anyone need a monkee?

Hello Roger, there are two new/old VRRA teams without a designated passenger hoping to be out in 2007. They may however want some one to be available for the Quebec and or North Bay rounds also. One is off net, both will be notified that you are willing to step up. The prospect of a team showing at Mid Ohio sans a regular passenger is always a possibility since oft times one can make an away race but the other cannot. This may also be the situation at Mosport with USCRA teams, I believe 2-3 teams showed up without a passenger this year.
I do not speak for the VRRA exec, or RACE brass, but would be surprised if an AHRMA lic were not recognized.
looking forward to seeing you in some ones chair, Paul.
