Well my eldest son surprised me for Christmas with a new GoPro HD on bike camera, too bad I didn't have it last year I could have released a 2009 Crash and Roll Hi-lites special... lets hope I forget that approach for 2010.

So, what tips have you learned, so far I've read;

Don't forget SD cards
Don't forget to charge battery
yes the suction cup will hold (maybe not in a crash ?)

Mike, make sure the memory card isn't full before you mount the camera.....

Ya must use lithium's, i tried batteries I had and they crapped out and camera did not work right. Lithium's and all was good.

I believe the HD version uses a battery pack... not regular batteries

I did not see the HD part, I have a go-pro wide but not the HD Can't wait to see footage off the HD!

Thanks Brian L. Just search CoreyDSFA on YouTube, as I have a bunch on the race bike and street bike testing out the Go Pro Wide.

I'd like to give the HD a try someday.

I just bought the GoPro HD from Riders Choice 2 weeks go and it is awesome. They still have it on for $299 and is worth every penny.

It does have a lithium battery which lasts about 2-1/2 hours with the 32 gig card I have in it I can record 4-1/2 hours of 1080p HD. There are several choices as to the recording quality so downloading and play back is quicker if need be.

It comes with 6 mounts, 3 flat surface and 3 curved mounts along with a removal-able suction cup mount as well.

You can purchase a spare battery for $25 which is a good idea.

I used it snowmobiling last weekend and was really impressed.
