1978 KZ650 P3 Mid bike for sale - $2500.00

1978 KZ650 (with 1982 KZ750 engine) P3 Mid bike for sale. Bought it last year with hopes of racing in the VRRA with it. However, a track incident on a sidecar rig kept me off the track all of last year and I'm still working to get back on. Finally made it out to a track but it was raining and I did have a very slow, mild, low side that resulted in the clutch lever breaking and some scuffing on the clutch cover (no leaks). The frame slider took the rest of it.

The bike pulls strong, has new oil and filter, brand new Avon RoadRiders, brand new battery, and, is fully safety wired. It has been raced in the VRRA before by the previous owner. The head is ported, shaved .010" and has HD valve springs with shim over buckets for ease of adjustment. The cams are 83-85 GPZ 750. Approx. $700 invested in head work.



I've got a lot into it but I'm motivated and ready to sell. Would also consider trade for an 81-83 RD350LC.
