As many of you know I have built many race bikes,own many bikes and have literally tons of parts. In my inventory I have gathered the following parts to built a competetive KZ 1000J Race bike;
Frame: choice of stock 1000J or 1981 GPZ 1100 ,GPZ has the rear motor mount brace and 2 degrees more rake on the GPZ frame)
engine: 1000J,the motor was running prior to disassembley . It passed the leak down test fine. The motor needs a new timing chain and reassembley and that should be all.
Bodywork is complete 1000J in good condition.
Performance parts 1983 GPZ 1100 cams and 33mm mikuni smoothbores.
Wheels, 1986 GSXR 750 3 spoke mags( powder coated white) 3.5 rear 2.5 front, 18" ,rear is ideal for avons 130 or 150 ,110x 18 front , very light wheels.
