My new P4F1

Postby Paul Boyd » Thu Jan 02, 2014 7:38 pm

My new P4F1project

The RG500 is ready to race so I am going to spend the winter building the B bike.

Starting out as a 1985 GSXR750 but I got some goodies comming.
I think I will also practice on it and race it in the P4 challange.
I may be faster on it.
The Gamma will not last forever, going to go "pop" one day.
And I want to be ready.
Paul

I'm confused. I don't know alot about GSXR's but the bike in the 1st photo and the one in the last photo appear to be different. Did you do a frame swap? lol

I was planning on doing the first gen GSXR .I always liked the square race look beter then the newer roundy style.
But it all changed when a deal came up for a 89.
Then the new motor it just goes from there.
Still need body work for both if anyone has it?
Will get the rad and pipe on today I hope.
Not much time left.

I know the subframe is upsidedown. Just to bend, and hold pipe up to see if it fits.

Here's the iggy you need http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dyna-2000-CDI-I ... 97&vxp=mtr back when these were state of the art they were $725 so pretty good price. You get it and I'll wire it in for you

I do not see on the Dyna website on what original wiring harness parts(cdi?) I would need, as I have none.
Cheers and talk soon

You can wire it as a stand alone total loss OR if you have the original harness its plug and play(still have to install the included rotor),,in short no further parts needed :D :D :D

To many distractions in every day life will prevent me having the GSXR ready for the first round.
The RG is ready. :D
