With current government regulations and concern for the healthcare system, the executives reluctantly announce the cancellation of Round 1 at Shannonville. We understand and share your disappointment.
For now, we are holding on to the May 27 date for the Phase 1 and 2 schools, but that may also change depending on conditions in the coming weeks. We will give as much notice as possible for any changes. School members who have already registered will be contacted directly.
The many factors affecting Round 2 at Calabogie are already being discussed. If allowed to race, we need to consider the provincial healthcare system, the health of our members, and the financial health of our club. Members need to sign up early to show their commitment as we cannot run this event without the full support of the club. Your actions have a direct influence on our decision. If the event is canceled, of course refunds will be without penalty.
Track owners are very supportive of our club, with open communication and helpful suggestions. We support them by doing everything possible to make our race weekends happen so we can continue to follow our passion.
