"Pete's Garage" video promo

Postby ian bruce » Wed Jan 07, 2009 4:44 pm

The following link and intro/explanation was sent to me by Sharon Lightstone. I think it's worth watching, beautiful bikes, locals, racetrack... Mallory, 1000 bikes event! (amongst other stuff) My heart rate picked up rolling out from the pits..... then I look outside the window at..... snow. The OTHER 4-letter word that starts with "S"! Hi-speed needed, but if you have it go take a look!

Ian

Several months ago I wrote telling your club about a motorcycle show several fellows are trying to get off the ground. They have just finished doing a promo for the show and I thought you might be interested in seeing it. Just click on the link below. Hope it's picked up by a network somewhere! Please feel free to forward this link to anyone you feel would enjoy it (or even better, you could put a link on your website)! Thanks.

Thanks for posting this promo Ian. What a great show this would/will be. Loved the steam engines, the other bikes too,and the passion people show for these old machines. The commentator seems like a genuine nice guy.I wish them luck and hope "Petes Garage" gets picked up by a network.

Thanks Ian, wonderful video. Heres hoping it gets picked up and becomes a reality. Some wonderful restored bikes, and I actually learned something I thought I new .... I was always under the assumption that BSA stood for British Small Arms , well I stand corrected. As was noted in the video it is actually "Bloody Sore Arse" .... :D
Cheers ... Ian !!!

Sorry Peter, just refering to the ones I used to own.
With minimal maintenance these are the results you will get.

No problem John, I do understand fully the challenge BSA's are to keep going! That's what makes it all so much fun  !
