1982 gpz mostly sell or trade

The motor is a KZ 550 with late model GPZ intake cam and an early GPZ exhaust cam. The motor uses the 1st generation GPZ mechanical carbs. They are smaller than the later CV style carbs. Also, an oil cooler has been added.

GPZ 1982 everything else. Lots of extras (extra: 4 pistons in good shape, bank of carbs and a few loose ones also, cylinder heads, 4 carb kits , electronic tach [not installed], oil pan, engine side cases, gsxr oil cooler and lots of odds and ends that aren't as interesting). Avon tires in good shape. Vortex clip ons. Minor dent in tank due to gravity. Paint is fine.

I've had no trouble with the bike although I was informed that the clutch is slipping. I didn't notice it but I trust the source. Float bowl level on one carb likely needs adjusting.

I've put 3000 to 3500 into the bike but have 2 others and can't keep three going. This one ran well (best of the three last year) but I've send the others to the health club and plan to give them a go in 2011.

$2000.00 or maybe trade for small (200-250) street legal off road bike.

However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results.
