P3 LWT Kawasaki

Postby Rick Yates » Thu May 17, 2012 7:30 pm

First year of the GPZ. This is a turn-key track bike. Yoshimura frame brace kit installed ( welded) 750 rear wheel. Daytona fork brace. braided lines. 27mm race-jetted carbs. Later model barrels with new pistons. New camchain slippers. Ported later model cylinder head. Dyna 2000 adjustable ignition. Gas filled rear piggyback shocks. Race Nickle plated Hindle exhaust. New battery. New chain. Seat panned. New front Avon with 4 sessions on it. New digital instrument cluster. I replaced the transmission when I had the engine out in December. Fiberglass bellypan included but not mounted.
We ran it at the Cayuga Trackday on Saturday and it ran excellent.

Thanks Scott,
I'd keep it if I hadn't bought the SV...just too many bikes at the moment.

$60 + $25 shipping for that cluster !! ...smok'n deal even if you only used the tach portion !! Did the tach seem to be accurate ?
I would have went for that if I knew they were available..I'm using a FZR600 tach on the CB550 but I have a switch on it so once I feel the gearing is good I can turn it off to save on my total loss battery use...works really well and a massive improvement over the stock Honda cable driven one which gave me an RPM "range" as the needle bounced around..accurate to within 2K

sorry Rick..didn't mean to hijack your thread
