There's a fairing on the shelf around here somewhere...

I've been focusing on all the mechanical adversities and neglected the fairing. So far the bike is made up of Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha, Honda , John Deere and Benelli parts. They don't meld together without some modifications...

It's ready to have the chain installed and if the weather improves I'll ride it next week. Then if everything is kosher, I'll fit the fairing, and then knock it down to paint the frame and fairing.

So Rick...how did you get on with the Little Green Meanie?..I've been waiting to see results from the weekend to see how you placed but the suspense was killing me..I love that thing..wish I could have been there to see it go..

The bike ran great. Some little issues to iron out before the next round.
Will you have the Honda ready?

hmmm..the past week has been a complete disaster regarding the build..long story but a new cam that was WAY too extreme for roadracing ( even though it was recommended by the supplier as such) caused 2 bent brand new Kibblewhite valves as we were trying to set the lash..got even worse after that..

Glad to hear that bike went well..that's a very cool little machine !
