Leftover awards

Postby racerchris46 » Fri Sep 06, 2024 8:34 pm

Somehow, 3 boxes of leftover awards from 2023 ended up in my van at the end of Mosport as they were left sitting by the stage.

Below is the list of 2023 Championship plaques that I have. if you want it, email me directly (do not reply here on the forum as for some reason I do not get notifications from the forum anymore). racerchris46@gmail.com
I am riding my BMW to the next event and I can bring those specific plaques I am asked for. If you are a Toronto resident and want to come get your email me and I will send you the address.

the rest I am throwing out in a week.

If you want me to look in the boxes for ones from the events from 2023 please email directly and I will look.

BTW- these un-picked up awards are a HUGE waste of money.

I dont use Facebook so if someone wants to copy and paste this to the non-official communication place feel free.

Any leftover awards from this year's banquet?
Do we have a process for making recipients aware of their awards?

I feel passionate about this as last year I was the recipient of an award that I feel is of the highest honour, yet because I had returned to Ireland and did not attend the AGM, I was unaware that it had been awarded to me. I only found out about it just before it was going to be thrown away almost a year later, which aside from my disappointment, would have been a great disrespect to the person who it was named after.
(Thanks Lyssa and Chris for finally recognizing this and getting it to me)
