Runway Romp 2007

The first 2 laps of the P4F3 race, from my rear video camera. #623 Kevin Kloet's nasty tank-slapper and crash is right at the end. Hope you heal as fast as you ride Kevin.

Hey Tim, did you have the camera roling during the P4 vintage challenge? If so, can you post it?
Thanks,
Nuno!

nice vid!

should have invested in a steering damper.

all in all, fairly minor injuries - will be back at work today.

i think, for some reason, i had more fun in the heat race... got any footage of that?

That would be very cool. I was riding around with Tim until the red flag and it's interesting to see where I was screwing up

And Nuno - congrats on the fastest lap trophy. You were really flying on the weekend.

Just put up 2 laps of the front view for the final for you Kevin. The heat race, and the Vintage Challenge will be up later tonight.

Anyone else? Put your numbers up if you raced with me(#840) in P4F3 or the P4 Vintage Challenge and you want a clip on youtube. I had to have passed you or you passed me though, because I only have the front view. Rear crapped out me at the start line for some unknown reason.! :)

I have some practice laps too from Saturday with the cam on the tank...didn't turn out very good, but I'll throw some up there...

So far, I have:

Number 8 in your program, number one in your hearts.

This is really good stuff Tim and thanks for putting it up.

I was doing the math and I think you probably wrapped up the P4 F3 title with your second place Sunday. Scott was close but I think you got it. In any case, congrats to both you and Scott - you both rode really well and had great seasons (other than the excavating incident at Mosport)

I would just like to pass along congratulations to all the riders in P4F3.

The level of competition was very intense this year and there were some incredible battles ...I found it to be extremely clean racing and feel very fortunate to be in such good company. Already looking forward to next year.

Tim, any chance of you putting up the front view of the last lap at NB?..I want to see how close you actually were!! The posted results at the track said the "margin of victory" was .651 seconds..mylaps.com shows it as 2 seconds.

Scott
ps. sorry Steve, forgot to bring the Stuffing to NB .. thanks for the nice comments..much appreciated
pps. also thanks to all the P4F3 riders for not hitting me during one of my even slower than usual "duck walk" starts at Mosport..

4 laps of Vintage Challenge before the red flag is up. Can't find one after the restart... I had to split it into two videos. I dunno how John G can post a full race in one vid. Mine would look blurry if I reduce the quality...

I'll make that video for you Stuffer, I mean Scott. Half a second is not really that close considering the speed we're going at the start/finish line. Here's a screen capture for ya for now.

Once again Steve, thanks... neither I or the FZ left anything on the table. I'd also like to thank everyone that gave me a warm welcome back to racing with the VRRA, I did miss it. A big congrats goes out to Mr. Harrison for putting in an awesome ride all weekend, as I had a great time flogging the snot out of the bike to keep up with him.
And Tim, great work on the videos.

Sorry Tim,

You must of been in a different race than me? There wasn't any need to stuff the guy I was chasing for the lead cause he kept over shoot'n the hairpin AND going wide in turn # 1..lap after lap after lap......

oh and thanks Bondo..one tiny little past incident and now I am labelled for life? ..you guys are harsh!!!!

Scott, your video is up. And I only went wide because of a pesky mosquito-sounding red thing on the inside that I didn't want ride over. :) Besides, overshoot'n couldn't be that bad when I beat your best lap by .3 of a second.... :P :P You were amazingly consistent and fast in the race though, with most laps under 1:10.
